Community Partnership Resources

 Dear Supporter,

We, here at WholeLife Community Church want to continue being a blessing to our community of loved ones all year around. Our loved ones also include the homeless, hungry and less fortunate families in the city of Paterson. We would like to invite you to join WholeLife’s Community Partnership Resources (C.P.R.) to help build up our community.

 Although blessed by diversity, Paterson faces widespread poverty and hardship. High unemployment and expensive housing stifle investment in the community, while educational deficits, illiteracy, and language barriers prevent individuals from obtaining sound comprehensive education. This leads to a reduced labor foundation for obtaining and sustaining of employment. New Jersey Department of Labor statistics show that employment rates in Passaic County have not increased for the last 20 years.

Over 24% of Paterson's population-are currently living below the Federal income poverty level of $9,310 for a single adult. The American Community Survey found that 33.6% of families living in poverty were headed by women without support from a spouse or partner. Of the 33.6% individuals living in poverty were children 5 to 17 years of age, 19.1% were 18-65, and 32.3% were 65 or above. Paterson's poor represent its racial and ethnic mix: they are 51% Hispanic, 31% African-American, 16% Caucasian, 1% Asian, and 1% other.

By joining C.P.R. your company will not only help the impoverished in our city but your company will become a partner in our national database system of resources, advertising and have direct access links to one another for better public relations. By gifting a donation for our community church through C.P.R. you will help sow a seed this year. Now is the best time to sow a seed for your own need to be blessed! Your company may want to make a financial donation or donate non-perishables food items, cosmetics, computers, gift cards, building materials, clothing for families, school supplies, floral items, tools or even office type furniture.
